Sterling Silver Italian Lobster Lock 14mm

I have a 24", 2mm ball chain. It's lobster claw clasp gave way and wouldn't stay closed. There was no stock of the 11 mm size clasp (i thing that's the size). Because I use the chain to carry an identity/medical tag, I wanted to get it back in service. SO I thought i'll order the 14mm clasp and ... so what? no body sees it and nobody will be able to criticize my "oversized" clasp. Well, I'm glad I got it anyway. it's easier to handle! 3 mm makes a difference to me in terms of ease of use AND being somewhat more robust that the 11mm clasp. I like it. that's all that counts. Very good alternative choice for the 11 mm clasp found on 2mm ball chains. probably would look and work just as good on 3-4 mm chains.
