This items appears to be black instead of brown. The picture shows a dark brown; however, when compared to the black silk cord I also received, it appears to be the same color. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star rating. I selected Yes that I would recommend this to a friend; however, I would caution my friend as to the color of the item.
