I bought this for my bigger pendants but I thing it is too short for my thick neck. I g ave it to hubby for his cross and it looked shout too.BUT its my choice in length, not the item I picked Pros: heavy and well made Cons: too short for me

My skin is very sensitive to metals and I was having a hard time finding a 22" or 24" heavy white gold chain for a nice charm that my goddaughters gave. This black leather cord worked perfectly and I can wear it without any skin irritation, the price was excellent and it's heavy enough for my charm.

Couldn't find it anywhere else

I waited until the last minute to order these leather cords. Twenty-two young men and their teaching artists were to receive my "Declaration of Peace Medal of Honor"(c) pendant as a gift at a closing ceremony. This summer program is provided by 'Bailey's Cafe' in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant and is funded by Jay Leno. There was no room for error. I was using leather cords in place of sterling silver chain to meet the organization's budget. If I didn't receive the cords on time I would be left scrambling and if the item was not up to snuff, there was no time to reorder. I was so very pleased with the order arriving earlier than expected AND the cords being all I wanted them to be and more! Great quality leather, stainless steel clasp, extender chain and caps. Great piece of leather, can hold a heavy charm no problem and the adjustable chain for extra length is good too.
