Metal reaction

I've purchased many rings in the past, never had an allergic reaction before. I got this ring and was so happy and couldn't wait to wear it. Within 5 minutes of wearing it, it started turning my finger green. Because this ring is a larger ring, I'm sure more metal that is not sterling silver is used as the base and silver plated more so than solid sterling silver. It is a beautiful ring. I just cannot wear it.
